Dr. Geis and his staff are super friendly and upfront with their practice. I hadn’t been to a dentist in a few years, but they were able to get me in for a cleaning no problem and treat a small cavity at the same time. Dr. Geis even showed me the cavity beforehand so I could see what we had to take care of. Taylor was amazing during the X-rays, and I loved her encouraging personality. Keep up the good work!

Absolutely LOVED coming here. For starters, I had just moved to Colorado and was still getting things figured out. I had been out and about when a filling I had gotten a while back fell out. I called Geis Dentistry and they got me an appointment ASAP. In addition to that, everyone working there was super kind and patient with me when it came to figuring out all my insurance things since I had just moved. I am looking forward to visiting again, just hopefully under better circumstances next time!

I had a marvelous time at Dr. Geis’ office! I had to get x-rays and a comprehensive exam done for my Peace Corps medical clearance, and they were so very helpful! Both Dr. Geis’ and Taylor were incredibly kind and helpful!

I will be sure to return the next time I need any dental procedures done in the Denver area!

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I visit the dentist for a check-up and cleaning?

It is recommended that most patients visit the dentist for a check-up and cleaning every six months. However, depending on your oral health and any underlying conditions, we might recommend more frequent visits. It’s essential to maintain these regular appointments to detect potential problems early and ensure optimal dental health.

Is it normal to experience pain or sensitivity after a dental filling or procedure?

It’s not uncommon to experience some sensitivity or discomfort following a dental procedure, especially after receiving a filling or after more intensive treatments. The sensitivity typically subsides within a few days. However, if the pain persists or if you experience severe pain, swelling, or other concerning symptoms, please contact our office immediately.

What should I do if I have a dental emergency outside of office hours?

If you’re experiencing a dental emergency outside of our regular office hours, please call our emergency contact number provided to our patients. If you’re unable to reach us or if the situation is life-threatening, such as uncontrolled bleeding or severe trauma, please go to the nearest emergency room or call 911.

Are X-rays safe, and why are they necessary?

Dental X-rays are a crucial diagnostic tool that provides valuable information not visible during a regular dental exam. We use this information to safely and accurately detect hidden dental abnormalities and formulate the best course of treatment. We ensure the safety of our patients by using modern technology, which emits minimal radiation, and by taking X-rays only when necessary.

Can I still go to the dentist if I’m pregnant?

Yes, you can and should continue seeing the dentist during your pregnancy. In fact, due to the hormonal changes that occur with pregnancy, it’s especially important to maintain good oral health to prevent dental problems. Please inform us if you’re pregnant, so we can take necessary precautions and make appropriate recommendations.
